Frankie:
When my eyes began to flutter open, I became very aware of how badly my head was pounding. It felt like those war drums that led me to the darker half of me were beating wildly behind my eyes.
"That's right, daughter. Wake up." I heard Odin and Mist in the background. It sounded like she was crying.
"What happened, Mist?" That was Hildr talking, but I still couldn't get my eyes to adjust to my surroundings.
"My head is busting," I grunted, trying to sit up.
"You deserve it." my darker half grunted in my mind.
Joy overwhelmed me.
"You're back!" she may not be happy about it, but I am.
"I shouldn't be, Frankie. This isn't a good thing, and I think you will soon realize that." She said something similar inside my mind, but I couldn't be bothered to worry ab……
