Today was Saturday, Tyler and Reno had long gone to the stadium, they'd left very early.

I wasn't hurt or pained anymore, I mean how could I be?

Tyler's excitement this morning was enough to make my grumpiness dissappear.

I'd asked Florence and the other house keeper not to bother checking in today so I could have the whole house to myself.

I plopped down on a kitchen stool, waiting for the cake mixture to rise a bit.

I was currently making Tyler favorite red velvet cake in preparation for his arrival.

I don't know when they would be arriving though.

My phone rang, it was Annie.

I was grateful for the distraction.

"Hey, Annie. How are you?"

"I need to talk to someone and I have no one to talk to. I could only think of you. "
