I left Adora's office after she told me about how her date went and found myself going towards Cole instead.
I dragged a chair and scooted closer to where Cole sat. I noticed how he nervously chewed on his fingers at intervals. He looked not quite himself. I didn't need nobody to tell me to know that the current situation of things between he and Annie is the cause of this recent development.
He sat upright when he noticed my presence and stared at me questioningly
'Hi Cole?' I gave him a small smile.
He flashed a forced smile. 'Hi?'
'Are you okay?' I asked.
The lines on his forehead wrinkled slightly. He didn't look in my direction, he stared directly forward, making the atmosphere quite awkward.. 'Do I look like I'm not?' he rhetorically threw the question at me.
'Yes' I responded bluntly……
