TERRY
I stood in front of Fraziers , clutching my briefcase tightly in my hands.
"Come on. You can do this." Ava said beside me, "Let's get this over with as soon as possible so you can take care of yourself."
I exhaled and entered the twenty story building. My client, Kat, was already inside, waiting for me.
I stood confidently in front of the board of directors, my eyes locking onto the skeptical faces before me. I noticed the Hostom lawyers smiling at me in an unwelcome manner.
"Is this who they sent? I thought that law firm claimed to be the best."
My client Kat grinned at them and winked at me. It had always been like this. Every time, one person at least usually looked down on me and then ended up hanging their head shamelessly as they lost the case.
It is why Kat chooses me every time. Bes……
