"Hey." I whispered to Chloe, "Can I talk to you for a moment?"
I pointed at the rooftop and went there first.
I noticed Adora and Martins haven't checked in yet.
She came in after me, almost immediately.
"Hey, what's up?" She asked, "It's been while."
"Yeah." I gave her a small smile.
Since my grandfather wants to proceed with everything, I can no longer stay here.
"I'm leaving soon." I blurted, still questioning myself as to why I was telling her, having this conversation with her or even here in the first place.
She burst out laughing, "Is this some sort of joke? Prank? Camera anywhere to capture my reaction?"
"No." I said curtly.
Her laughter died down "You can not just go just like that. That impossible, if at all you are serious."
"I am serious." I told her, letting my seriousness show ……
