I expected them to be up to the task, and from the excitements on their faces, they were. With that little announcement, Reno and I made our way to a room there that had a wonderful view of the city.
“Schedule a time to see the dresses in the archives, Adora,” he said as he walked over to his desk and read through a file, “to assess what we would be working with.”
There was that attitude that crawled under my skin and irritated me, but for the sake of the show and things going without a hitch, I ignored it.
“Don’t you have Chloe for that?” I moved farther into the office and leaned on the glass panels that gave a full view of the city below.
He hated it when I leaned on the ceiling to floor glass window, said something about it being dangerous. I didn't pay attention to him.
