Reno didn't stop or react in any way that showed heard me.

I pursed my lips together, not sure on how to react.

"Sorry, I said that." I muttered after ten minutes of silence from his side. "I don't know what came over me. Just forget it."

He was still massaging my feet.

"You are not going to say anything?" I asked again.

He stopped and looked at me, dropping my feet on the bed, "You just told me to forget about it." He gave me a small smile, "That is exactly what I am doing."

I gaped at him.

"Let's forget you said that and imagine it came from a place of weakness."
