I hadn't picked my outfit out the night before and was standing in front of my closet in dismay, looking at the piles of clothes scattered all around me on the floor. This wasn't like me, but then again, I'd been wearing a uniform to school for the last three years of my life. Having my period made me feel bloated, anxious, and irritable.
