It was just after 2 a.m., and even after reading for a bit, I was still wide awake and feeling bothered. I'd somewhat forgotten how much I'd enjoyed being in someone's arms and kissing with passion like I had with Jace tonight. I'd gotten too aroused thinking about everything we'd done after I'd gone upstairs to sleep in the guest room. Sleep was elusive for me. Reading the epic love story of Bella and Edward was not helping me fall asleep either. I gave up, grabbed a towel and face cloth, and had an icy shower.
I exited the bathroom and was stunned at who was there, apparently reading my book.
"What are you doing in here?" My voice trembled with raw emotion.
