Our friends awaited us when Alex, Raven, River, and I arrived at the fall fair. All eyes were on River and I, holding hands.
"It's about damn time," Emily said with a huge grin.
"Took you long enough there, bro," Tristan teased, his arm around his current girlfriend.
River just grinned and put his arm around me.
"You knew?" I asked Tristan, surprised.
"Anyone with eyes could see that you two hooking up was just a matter of time, darlin'," Tristan drawled.
"Never thought I'd see the day you had an official girlfriend," Claire laughed.
"Alright, enough teasing, my brother," Raven said. "Let's go, pay our admission, and buy our tickets."
It was $5 for the Gate Admission for students and $40 for the "Pay One Price" Wristband to go on the rides. It was easier than han……
