Lying in Wait

A month had passed. Jeff was in hiding. He had reported back to his superiors and told them about how the Elders had sent Commander Kasaji to find him. His superiors were disbelieving at first. The story Erebos told seemed far-fetched to them. However, he eventually convinced them. Kai Kasaji, commander of the 1st unit, was trying to find him. His superiors ordered him to go back home, take the girl, and run. They would continue jamming the communicators in an attempt to impede Kasaji's efforts.
