THIRD PERSON POV.
Blair and her father stood side by side, holding hands as they approached the coffin. Each took a turn placing a flower on top, a final tribute to the woman they both loved dearly. They were cloaked in black, a sad reflection of their grief. Blair clung to her father, tears streaming down her cheeks as she said her silent goodbyes.
With a trembling hand, Blair dropped her flower into the grave, whispering softly, “Until we meet again, Mom.”
They watched as the earth swallowed her mother’s casket, burying her six feet under. The rest of the guests took turns offering their condolences to the bereaved family. Blair could barely pay attention to anything they were saying; her mind was consumed only with pain.
“I’m sorry for your loss,” Leo said as he pulled Blair into hi……
