BLAIR’S POV.
I woke up in the hospital with a headache. The room was bright and smelled clean. An IV drip was connected to my arm, and my head was wrapped tightly in bandages. It took me a few moments to piece together the events before I lost consciousness.
I turned to my right to see my mom holding my hand, asleep.
“Mum,” I whispered softly. “Mum,” I called again gently.
My mom lifted her head when she heard my voice,
she quickly got up, her face brightening with relief when she saw I was awake, and pulled me into a tight hug.
I winced as the hug pressed against my tender injuries. “Ugh… Mum, my body hurts,” I groaned.
“I’m so sorry, dear. I am just so relieved you are alive,” Mum said, pulling back with tears in her eyes. “I’m sorry for putting you through this. I feel like such a terri……
