BLAIR’S POV.
You never realise how bad things could get until you hurt someone's ego. If I thought I was bullied before, I was kidding myself; it's way worse now.
After I rejected the triplets that night, it felt like I’d made a deal with the devil. They vowed to make me pay, I guess they never expected me to reject them, the news spread like wildfire and it became increasingly unsafe to go to school every day.
Hunter had given everyone permission to make my life hell and like the puppets they are they made sure of that.
I was on my way to geography class when Hunter appeared in front of me. I tried to get around him, but he moved to the side, blocking me again.
“Please, don't do this now. I just want to get to class,” I whispered softly, hating that I was begging him.
He looked at me without a single trace of emotion on his face, but that was not really new. The only emotions I usually see on his face are rage, coldness, and a flash of satisfaction whenever he embarrasses me.
"Do you really think you could embarrass me in front of the whole school and get away with it?" he asked, crossing his arms.
I sighed heavily. "I was not trying to embarrass you. You were going to reject me anyway, so what is the big deal?"
"Big deal?" he sneered. "You have absolutely no right to reject us. Do you know how many people would kill to be in your place right now, huh?"
"Well, I don't care," I rolled my eyes and walked away. He held my arms back, hitting me against the wall, closing the distance between us. "I'm your Alpha, and you have no right to walk away from me when I'm still talking," he warned.
A giant lump formed in my stomach whenever Hunter shot me those angry eyes. Fear, embarrassment, and pain threatened to suffocate me, but I refused to show how his presence affected me.
"Then just accept the rejection already. I'm sure plenty of girls would be thrilled to be mated to an asshole like yourself," I retorted.
I could see him clenching his jaw, a vein popping out in his neck.
"Accept rejection from a low life like you, an omega?" he scoffed, followed by a long, loud, crazy laugh. "You must not only be a poor omega but a dumb one too."
At that moment, I had had enough of his insult and no longer wanted to be anywhere near him.
"Hunter, please don't start this now. This is neither the time nor the place. I have classes already, and I need to be there. Then I will be out of your way."
"Out of my way?" he scoffed. "That is something you, Blair, are incapable of. You have been in my way since the day you stepped into this school. You have been nothing but trouble."
"Quite the irony, don't you think? You have been the only one causing chaos since I stepped here."
"What did you say?" he asked, slamming me against the wall.
"Nothing," I replied, looking at the ground.
"Is anything the matter?" a teacher called out from across the hallway.
"No, we are fine," Hunter replied. "I was just telling Blair to be careful."
The last sentence sounded more like a threat than a warning. He released his tight grip on my hand and let me go.
I went to geography class and I was relieved to finally have some peace of mind, without people whispering mean things about me or throwing small objects in my direction when the teachers weren’t looking.
The class passed on quicker than I would have liked. I dragged my tired self down the quiet hallway when three hefty boys stood in my direction.
“What is it again?” I asked, already irritated, I was not ready to deal with another confrontation this morning.
“Are you always this cranky, little miss?” Derek asked with a smirk.
“I don't have time for your games, I have had enough for today,” I hissed.
“Don’t worry, we are all going to have fun this time “ he smirked.
Something with the way he said those words sent chills around my spine and I knew something bad was going to happen. Before I could react, he casually slung me over his shoulders and brought me to an old, unused biology lab, dropping me down roughly.
"What are you doing?" I asked, my lips trembling with fear.
As if to answer my question, he began unbuckling his belt. Terror filled my eyes as I realised what was about to happen.
"Please, please don't," I pleaded, my words sounding like a broken record.
"Stop acting like you don't want it. I've seen the way you look at me," he retorted, advancing towards me. "Cooperate, and we will be done before your next class."
Huh? Was he sick or something? Every time I looked at him, it was with disgust, not desire.
“You must be mistaken, Derek, I despise you,” I yelled.
He laughed, “I understand what you mean, Women always say the opposite of what they truly feel,”
I furrowed my brows at his barbaric assumption but arguing about it was not a priority now. By this time, I had managed to pick up a small pocket knife, it was a little blunt but it was sharp enough for me.
I swallowed hard, trying to appear brave. "Okay, you are right. I do like you," I said, adopting a softer, more innocent tone. "But we can't do this with the others watching. Why don't they wait in the storage room while we handle our business?"
He seemed to consider this for a moment, and like the fool he was, he agreed and ushered the others away. Now, it was just him standing between me and the door.
I gripped the pocket knife firmly and with my other hand beckoned on him to come closer. He wrapped his hands around my body and started kissing me aggressively and trying to take off my top. I seized the opportunity and drove the knife forcefully into his legs.
He screamed so loudly attracting the attention of the other boys, before they could come out I dashed out of the room as quickly as possible.
“Catch that b***h!” he screamed in anger.
Terrified, I ran as fast as I could, resisting the urge to look back. I entered an unknown room, and I slammed the door shut, my heart pounding with fear.
Shivers ran down my spine as the room echoed with a thunderous, angry, demanding voice.
“What are you doing here?”
