Pious is my uncle who was banished from Gethmorn by my father, the late king of Gethmorn. After my mother’s death, Pious took me away from Gethmorn and he was the first to plant a seed in me that has sprouted into a Gevaudan beast. He taught me how to fight, he taught me how to contain my wolf and use it to fight. Pious put a distinction between my vengeance and the zeal to take back what is mine.
