“You saved him?” Hardane’s raw voice asks behind me.
It is how I remember it to be. As the eldest of all siblings, he usually made every decision amongst us. In the midst of my siblings, I am an illegitimate child that was born outside of my father’s marriage. And if that wasn’t enough, I just had to be born wolfen which made brought about a stark difference amongst us. I hardly speak to my brothers. I cannot truly relate with my sisters and their life experiences because of my insecurities.
As a healer, I got to see that wounded people didn’t have the luxury of time to think of what my eyes were when they are in so much pain. So, I found it to be a safe place. Due to the colour of my eyes, I segregated myself from my siblings because I didn’t want to be their burden…I d……
