“You f*****g bastard!?” My voice thunders.
“Your majesty…. we are trying to detect what poison it is. We have never seen it’s kind before, if we do not know what type it is, we cannot admit an antidote.”
The physicians pale and tremble under the sound of my voice, stammering apologies and reassurances. As I am speaking, a number of assistants rush out of the door where Melissa is being treated. My body quakes in utter sorrow when I see the piles of blood-soaked towels, and the crimson stains on their white uniforms. Covering my mouth in horror, I turn back to the physicians.
“She is still losing blood?” I utter in absolute terror.
“Unfortunately…she doesn’t have a wolf. Therefore, there is no strength to rely on as we search for a solution…”
