Allie was stiff the entire ride to the restaurant. I held her hand, and she looked up at me. "I am not comfortable," she muttered.
"Did he make a pass on you?" I asked, annoyed, and she sighed.
"No. He was polite but demanded my time as if he was entitled to have me do his bidding. It was weird—not in a client-service supplier way," she paused. "I don't know. " She bit the nail of her thumb, and I nodded.
I could tell she was upset; he was not making her feel comfortable. He was making her feel unsafe, and that was a big problem. No man should make a woman feel threatened. No man should come to her office and make her feel like that.
"Look, he might be a potential client, but that position of control or power does not entitle him to make you feel like that. Do you want me to hand……
