We picked up the order at the restaurant and had a pleasant dinner on the balcony, overlooking the lights of the vibrant nightlife I used to be part of. Not anymore. This is what I needed to have in my life, and I never knew about it. Our company was enough; it was peaceful. For the first time, the constant noise inside my head was calm, quiet, and in order.
She stood up, and I looked at her. "Where are you going?" She smiled at me and stretched.
"I am cleaning up, I am tired," she sighed, and I nodded,
"Why don't you go and bathe while I clean up?" I offered. I was not that tired, besides she is pregnant and needs some pampering. It was a stressful day, and she needed a break from everything.
I know she doesn't want to address the elephant in the room, and despite knowing I love……
