His dashing smile made my knees weak. This man, whoever he was, was my husband, the father of the baby growing up in my womb. I must remember, I have to. I can't believe I have forgotten the most essential part of my life: meeting the man who plucked me out of spinsterhood. Yes, I had sworn that only a worthy man would be the one who I would give the time of the day. Other than that, there were meaningless distractions.
I have to remember; I must.
He opened his arm, and I wrapped my hand around his elbow. “So, what do you have in mind?” I asked him, and he laughed,
“Nothing, let's be spontaneous…” He chuckled, and I bit my lower lip. I have always had my life all planned out, and I worked hard to make things happen. Spontaneity is a completely unknown field for me.
