Alison POV


I cried and then fell back asleep. I couldn't get my head around the fact that the man I was living with, and the one that was supposed to be my anchor, my protector, my love, and my husband, had slept around with random women the first night I was out of the hospital.


I tried to hide in my room, but after much thought, I decided I would not hide. I have done nothing wrong. He was the one hurting me, hurting our marriage and our relationship. He should be the one avoiding me, not the other way around.


That thought, and my grumbling stomach were the main factors in my stepping out of my room. I was relieved when I didn't run into him. I didn't know what to say or do. I fixed a sandwich and ate it. With food in my stomach, I felt much better, so I decided to call Amy.
