Adam POV
I returned with the car, and when I was pulling close to the cabin, I saw a car outside the front entrance. I took a deep breath expecting the worst, but when I saw who was there, I chuckled.
“Hey, what are you doing here?” I asked,
“I had no idea one couldn't visit his sister,” Arman replied casually, lifting his eyebrows in a challenge.
“She should be around. Let me open the door,” I said, reaching for the keys in my pocket. I unlocked the front door, motioning for Arman and Ava to step into the place. I looked around to see if there was any sign of Talia.
“She should be here…” I paused and saw a half-bitten apple on the counter. The cabin was perfectly tidy, so no foul play had happened.
I tried not to panic because I had learned in the past three days that……
