My vision blurred, and my entire world became a big fuzz. I was unprepared for what she had revealed; it was too soon. If what she said was true, our baby would not make it.
Dragon pregnancies are five months long; she has been pregnant for three and a half. The most significant part of our baby's development is yet to come. She is mainly an angel despite having her Amethyst Dragon with her; her angel nature is dominant. It was weird how she had a powerful dragon spirit caged into her angel body.
"Breathe, darling... it might be a false alarm." I tried to soothe her, and she nodded. At the same time, holding my hand in a deadlock grip, I asked her, "Should I call your mother?" With gritted teeth, she nodded.
"Alright, let me put you into bed, and then I will call her." I rushed out, pi……
