Talia POV
I was shaken and weirded out. I couldn't sleep, at least not until Grecco walked into my room and, without a word, cuddled next to me. It's just the way we used to cuddle when we were kids.
“I will always protect you… Talia… “ He sighed, and I felt completely safe. It was as if his aura was covering me like a blanket.
“Grecco, are we going to be running away forever?” I bit my lower lip, and he shook his head.
“I don't care if we have to declare war on those bastards. You will not live your life looking over your shoulder…” Grecco said, and I chuckled. It was too good to be true. I knew I had the support of my entire family, but knowing that Grecco was willing to go the distance made me feel better.
“Let's try to sleep,” Grecco patted my head, running his finger……
