With stunned expression and tears welling up in my eyes, I remained seated, trying to hard to regulate my breathing while Dante stared at me, waiting for me to say something no doubt.
But what do you say to the murderer of your brother?
I turned around, picking up the spoon I had been using and placing it gently on the table.
“What now?” I asked in a small voice, pushing back my tears. “Is it my turn to die, Dante Armani?” I asked a little bit louder.
“No” He whispered
“No?” I echoed, turning and glaring at him with all the rage I felt in my bones. "I told you, didn’t I? That you have to f*****g kill me or expect that I will kill you one of these days so which is it going to be?”
He said nothing, merely stared at me with those dis……
