FRANCESCA's POV
I sighed, screaming into the pillow as Dante walked out of the room. I knew exactly how I must have come off immediately I had awoken and he must have thought he was the reason.
The truth was I did not know how to react to him… I was shy and as much as that sounded every stupid it was the whole impossible truth.
As much as I had wanted us to speak… talk about what had happened and what was happening between us, my throat had closed up refusing to voice anything other than stiff responses to his questions.
I had slept better last night than I had slept in days since my kidnap, in his arms and thoroughly sated. My body felt so alive, tingling with sensations and I could already feel the soreness between my legs but it was a good kind of sore.
I am ruined, I ……
