Prom
Kacey
Prom night had finally come, Orlando and Daniel were accompanying us, we had no idea how that had managed to get into a school prom but we chose not to ask, their world was to ask no questions and you shall be told no lies. So me and Milly decided to keep guessing we finally come to the conclusion it had something to do with the headteacher he had McKenna them to help us with self defence lessons but he knew I clearly didn’t need them but Milly did, so I just kept them up so she wouldn’t have a reason not to take them, she had grown close to Daniel I was truly grateful for him make her believe in herself once again and she was gradually gaining back her self confidence. Tonight was going to be our final farewell to this shithole, and good riddance to all of the bullies, especially the Hemmings. What we didn’t know was what was in store for Shaw and Kyson.
We are not really looking forward to tonight. We last saw everyone a week ago whilst signing off. No one knew where to look. They couldn’t even look directly at us, not sure if we knew what had gone down that night, we should’ve known better, I should’ve known better. We should’ve known those idiots were up to no good. They couldn’t even look us in the eyes as we entered the high school one last time and into the hall to get our results and sign off. They just bowed their heads in shame; that’s right boys bow your heads for your shameful act. I’m sure once Orlando anc Daniel catch up to you you’ll be in for a whole world of s**t. We were walking out of highschool and up to the car when Orlando got out, opening the door looking directly at Shaw and Kayson glaring at them, Daniel looked up. "Is that them?"
Orlando nodeed. He went to pull himself out of the car, as me and Milly sat in the back. He placed his hand on Daniel’s chest. "Not yet bro. We’ll get them all together all in the same place in a separate room once prom is over then you can have your fun okay?"
He nodded pushing himself back into the seat slumping into it. Orlando closed the back door and got into the drivers side closing his door pulling away. Shaw and Kayson looked over at the car as we passed, sending chills through me and Milly as Orlando and Daniel face them the coldest glares I’ve ever seen, as if to say “watch your back we’re coming for you your time is up.”
Now prom night is finally here and we’ll never have to see those assholes again or so I hope.
We got into our sparkling angel length dark blue and lilac dresses and our six inch heel sandals. God I hope we can walk in these, dancing is going to be a tough challenge now I was regretting choosing them though they went with the dress. I looked at Milly, I could see she was contemplating her rash decision too. I looked at her and smiled. "We’re going to be fine."
"I hope so I’ve never worn heels this high before."
"Me to babe maybe we should’ve done a catwalk practice before tonight."
She smiled and began to laugh. I soon joined her. Once we were done laughing we finished getting ready with light shadow effect eyeshadow with mascara, the bell went and ty shouted up. "Girls your ride is here."
We slowly walked down stairs holding our dresses about two inches uo so we wouldn’t trip over them. We looked directly at Orlando and Daniel who had the biggest smiles upon their faces. ‘"You look, wow.’"
"You look gorgeous my sweet flower.’"
We both smiled, Milly was blushing. We stepped off the last step they took our hands. Ty looked at us with a pleasant smile upon his face like he was so proud of us. ‘"Let me take a photo all of you can look back upon.’"
We all nodded. Orlando snaked his arm around my waist pulling me into him protectively. "You look stunning my queen." He said, kissing my forehead.
I smiled nervously. Still unsure if I wanted to take this step right now. I loved him, but I wasn’t quite sure if I was ready to take on such a serious role now or in the future. Daniel had his arms wrapped around Milly’s waist, his head over her leaning on her shoulder. "Smile."
We all gave the biggest smiles we could and Ty snapped us on his new galaxy s21. "Right you can go now guys and gals." He looked at Orlando and Daniel. "Take care of them, they mean a lot to me."
"We will, we promise."
He smiled.
"Let’s get this over and done with." Milly sighed.
"We can always stay here." I added
"Nope, not happening, we're taking you to your last and only prom." Orlando said, as a matter of faculty.
We sighed and nodded.
"I’ll see you all tomorrow and I want deeds." Ty ordered.
"Sure bro."
We all said goodbye to my brother and stepped outside to be greeted with the biggest limo me and `Milly had ever seen.
Orlando
"Wow." They said, in unison as they saw the stretch limo.
I smirked the widest smirk I had. "I’m glad you both Iike it Angel. It’s a friend of ours who owes me a favour. Let’s get in.’
They nodded, slipping in Daniel was still in a daze so I had to snoop him out of it before we got into the limo. I can understand why; they looked stunning and so grown up. I closed the door sitting beside Kacey linking our fingers. ‘You look breathtaking tonight Kacey.
She smiled. "So do you."
I winked at her. Making her blush she never blushed. This was the first time ever. I leaned over to her. "Don't do that Angel I might just have to take you right here." I said, kissing her neck.
She gasped. "Orlando."
I laughed. "Drive we have a prom to get to." I said, slipping my free arm around Kasey pulong her to me, kissing her forehead one day we’d be doing this as a married couple, her as my queen.
Daniel
I couldn’t stop looking at her. She was beautiful. She's doing so well to get to where she is now and I was going to help her to achieve what she wanted. I couldn’t keep my eyes off her even on the way to the car. I leaned forwards talking into her ear. "You look beautiful tonight my Angel."
She blushed, she was cute when she blushed, it made her look even more sexy. I want to marry this girl but I knew I had to wait another two years until she was eighteen and I would, this girl meant the world to me.
"Come on Bro we’ll be late."
"We’re already late bro You and a fashion crisis remember?"
"Blame the i***t that didn’t do their job properly and I had to find another suit."
True he was so angry he almost throttled the poor guy for not making sure there were no stains in his suit. He apologised a lot and assured him he would never make that mistake again. He better not, or my bro would fire his useless ass.
Milly
I can’t believe they hired a limo, a freaking limo it’s so awesome. I was in awe and so was Kacey, we’d never ever been in a limo before this was the best night ever.
Daniel kept smiling at me the whole intone ride to the school. I had butterflies bubbling inside me. I’d never felt this way about someone before no one ever approached me till Daniel, he’d done so much for me and I was truly grateful to him for making me the person I am today. I hope this feeling never ends. I love him so much I hope we get to spend the rest of our lives together.
The limo pulled up outside the school and the driver opened the door bowing. "We’ll need you here for eleven thirty okay."
"Yes sir."
Orlando nodded and me and Kayce thanked him.
"My pleasure ladies enjoy your evening."
"We will."
Roland and Daniel took our hands and we walked into the school and into the great hall where it had all been decorated it out to look like the scene of Greece. It was so cool how they’d brought that era back into our time.
"Come on let’s get some drinks."
We both nodded and they let us over to the table getting drinks making sure they didn’t taste of alcohol guess we couldn’t blame them. After the after school party they nodded and handed us both a drink. Everyone looking at us whispering.
The night was growing to an end, we’d danced practically all night. The king and queen had been announced, no surprise there Cherry Hemmings and Blake Davenport like we cared.
Daniel and Orlando pulled me and Kacey to our feet we couldn’t take anymore.
They led us onto the dance floor and pulled us to them with our arms around each other as we danced slowly. This had been the best night ever.
We took their hands once the dance was over. It was already eleven thirty so we all made our way out. "Aren’t you staying to the end?"
We tuned around he was either brave or very stupid.
"No."
"So you’re going to let these two geezers order you around at your prom?"
"They’re not, our ride is here."
"Tell it to wait."
"We shall not!"
"Oh look who it is? Their saviours."
"I’d step back if I was you."
"Or what?"
"You’ll regret it."
"Like s**t I will."
Orlando pushed him out the way. "Drop it little boy, you're no match for us."
"You don’t scare me old man, we still have college and you can’t stop us there."
"Oh we can, good night." He said, pulling Kacey away.
Me and Daniel following them outside and into the limo. The door closed and the driver got in pulong away both me and Kacey having no idea what was going to take place the following day.
