CHAPTER 96
DECLAN’S POV
The elders were in an uproar when the sunlight hovered over the pack the next morning.
“Escaped? How?” They asked and wondered, but I had no answer to any of their questions.
I had already carried out my interrogation with every member of my staff and nothing seemed fishy, they were all oblivious to how she had escaped, but still, I wasn’t satisfied, it didn’t make any sense. Claus had been worried the entire night, I couldn’t sleep and neither could the rest of the pack house. The last guard for the interrogation came in around five AM, I was exhausted and thought about just letting it be, I had no success getting any useful information up till this point.
I had taken a significant point into note when I spoke to the chief guard and that was the only reason I still mana……
