CHAPTER 54
RAINA’S POV
The day crawled by like a snail. Each dragging hour brought a new torment of pain to my stomach, it growled hungrily. I winced and groaned, a few times I cried out, but no one came to my aid from the hollow passage. I curled into a ball, the side of my face was against the hard, rough ground of the cell, I couldn’t move at a point.
The cold from the ground and the eerie walls seeped into my body and I felt myself growing weaker as the day passed by. I took a mental note of the time at a point during the day, why was it so cold in here when it was afternoon? Surely the sun was still out, what kind of a coven of darkness was this place?
I thought about the inmates that spent years here, surely one couldn’t last in here for two long. The gray walls only offered an emotional……
