DECLAN’S POV
I hated the scorn in her voice when she spoke. The judgmental look in her eyes agitated me so much and I didn’t even know why I was taking so much time to make things clear to her.
Who gave a f**k about what she thought anyway? I was the Alpha of the pack, if a man needed to be killed, then he’d face death. She understood nothing, her eyes held a kind of innocence and her emotions were limpid through them.
“I want to leave.” She told me softly. “I don’t want to be here anymore.”
“You speak like you have a choice, Raina.” I said flatly. “In the long run, you’ll understand that my acts towards you have been rather benevolent than cruel.”
She walked around me and stared at me with accusing narrowed eyes, “With all you’ve done? You set me up for death once and put my life at ……
