ARIAH’S POV
I couldn’t recall how many times I had cursed Alice when I heard those approaching footsteps. My eyes darted around for a possible escape route, I couldn’t go out through the window, the drop was too f*****g high. The wardrobe was the only reasonable hiding place. I cooked up a plan in that split second based on my nervous assumptions. Raina was definitely going to step into the bathroom first before looking into her wardrobe. The second I heard the shower running, I would sneak out.
