RAINA'S POV

I caught my breath sharply and my body stiffened when he stirred slightly.

“Oh, my goodness!” I thought hastily. “How the hell did I end up in this situation?”

I touched his hairy hand that was wrapped around my waist softly. I tried to lift it as I wrapped my hand around his wrist lightly, but Declan's arm was too heavy!

There was no way I could get out of this situation without having to move his whole weight. I had no idea if he was a light or deep sleeper…but sure he couldn't be a light sleeper. He was a warrior after all, and I knew for a fact that warriors and guards only slept half conscious.
