LOGAN
The moment I stepped out of my packhouse, I knew there was no turning back. I didn’t tell anyone I was leaving, didn’t bother explaining my sudden departure.
I just rode toward Red Moon, somewhere I had just returned from,the image of her burning in my mind. I had spent days trying to push her out of my head, trying to focus on work, on my responsibilities as Alpha, but nothing worked. Every second, my thoughts drifted back to that moment…her lips on mine, the warmth of her breath, the way her body had softened against me. It was like a drug, and I was already addicted.
I wasn’t going back for the project. That was just an excuse. I was going back because I needed to see her. I needed to hear her voice, to watch the way her brows furrowed when she was thinking, to see the flicker of ……
