SYLVESTER
I barely had time to react when Mira and the guard rushed toward me in Nora’s room. We paused the discussion and I had to leave.
“Alpha, there’s an emergency!”
Mira’s voice was frantic, her eyes darting around like she was searching for the right words to explain. The guard beside her was breathing heavily, his face pale.
I stiffened. “What is it?”
“We” The guard hesitated, his throat bobbing. “We need you outside. Now!”
I didn’t question it. The urgency in their voices was enough. Without another word, I strode past them, stepping out of the packhouse.
And that’s when I saw it.
The night was alive with chaos.
Shadows moved fast, growls and snarls tearing through the air. Claws ripped through flesh, the metallic scent of blood thick in my nose. Warriors were locked in battle, strugglin……
