Darius' amber eyes clashed with the pools of honey. Their stares mixed in without blinking. Soon, Primrose looked away as her eyes got watery and the headache's assault became unbearable.
"Alright. I'm going to have dinner first. I'll come back on my own."
The answer must have satisfied him. He stood up and fixed the folds of his coat. Primrose leaned back on the sofa. Melancholic and almost at the door of depression.
Instead of walking out the door, Cassius stepped over her outstretched feet and sat next to her. The sofa suddenly became a lot smaller with a tall person like him taking up more than half the space.
"I can wait." Came his half hearted explanation.
"Whatever." Her shoulders moved in a shrug.
Vivian's pressure resistance was admirable. Primrose thought Cassius's presence may affect ……
