"Who is taking you down the aisle?"
The question stumped Primrose. She met Vivian's eyes through the mirror.
"Can I walk in on Cassius?"
Vivian's face fell. It practically spelled out : Are you dumb?'
In the history of royal weddings there was never a single occasion where the bride and groom walked the aisle together. The bride's father, brother, even mother or sister were allowed to do the honour.
It symbolises the hand over of their family member into the hands of her significant other. It was a pretty important part of the ceremony too.
Vivian questioned, "I'll call your father?"
"No!"Primrose refused confidently, "I'll walk alone if I have to. That man will not have the honour to walk me down the aisle."
"People will talk, Primrose. It's not easy to change the rules of the royal family. They'……
