Her tone went a pitch higher in excitement. Not only did her eyes sparkle, the hand extended before Cassius shook too as if she couldn't wait to open it up and show him whatever it was she hid inside.

Cassius remembers it being the same hand with the redness. An incredible thought entered his mind like a cold river. It washed away the previous rotting thoughts swirling in his mind.
