Primrose lay down on the bed facing the ceiling. The weather started to cool down about a week ago but the villa remained as warm as ever. Her fan was off and the AC remained in its broken state. She rolled over on her stomach and tapped the diary with all her secret thoughts scrawled on the pages.
"They are dragon blood after all. Their bodies must be itching to let out their tails. I have to be careful."
The Santiago family became as timid as a mouse after that car incident. Helena finally managed to act on her fear and completely stopped appearing in front of Primrose.
Lily's daring personality flopped when it rivalled Primrose. Not only did Jacob reprimand her about messing with Primrose, she also stopped doing it for her own and her youngest daughter's life.
