Cassius forcefully turned her by the shoulders to face him. The light falling into their room made it exceptionally bright.
Barely two days passed after their wedding and Primrose was already used to the way the sunlight fell on the bed, the way she could reach out and find everything on the nightstand.
How the walk in closet was arranged and the perfect temperature for bath. Everything fell into the palm of her hand in the most natural way. As if she belonged to this place.
Perhaps it was her wish to belong that made everything so convenient.
At this moment the sun felt scorching on her cheeks, it stung her eyes until they produced an unnecessary layer of tears. The bedsheets didn't feel soft anymore nor did she find the bath comforting enou……
