The entire orphanage buzzed with excitement as I moved through the crowd of childre, handing out food, gifts, and clothes to the children.

Their excitement was so infectious, that I couldn't help but join some of them that were dancing to the Christmas songs blasting from the dj speakers.

Seeing how excitement they were warmed my heart, but as I glanced towards the entrance, my smile immediately faded.

I saw Clarrisa was casually walking towards the orphanage and I couldn't help but wonder why.

She hadn’t shown up for any of the Christmas events since we started, so it was surprising to see her show up.
