Sacrifices and Sins

I stepped in front of Kade. He pulled me to his chest, keeping my clothes plastered to my naked body.

“You’re not going to kill each other,” I said.

Alex’s nostrils flared and smirked.

“Gabriella. I’m going to kill him.”

He closed the distance. Kade pushed me out of the way. I landed in Ryan’s arms. He locked me in place. Alex swung but Kade ducked and punched Alex in the gut. A cocky Henry pack beta charged. He bashed Kade in the back. That was enough for the other betas to join in.

“Stop!” I cried.
