Huffing loudly, Max then turned the ignition of his car off as he parked at Charlene’s apartment parking area.
After spending his breakfast with Diane, he sent her to Damien’s apartment to check on him. Their heart-to-heart talk went well, and he was lucky that Diane had been generous support for him and fully understood his side. He truly admired the young lady’s mature mind and great care for her loved ones.
Max was about to get the pouch that was silently sitting on his passenger seat when he heard Charlene’s phone buzzing and ringing non-stop. Curious that he was, he took it out from the bag and checked it. The callers’ name was flickering on the screen, then it stopped. It had twenty miscalls already.
