Dropping the dumbbells on the floor, Max quickly took his ringing phone at the table.
It had been more than a month since he woke up from his coma, and he had done therapy for quite a while after his recovery. Now he was at home doing his routine work-out to gain the muscles and strength he lost while he was in the hospital.
Checking the screen, it was Damien.
“Hey, buddy!” He answered.
“Max! I messed up!” Damien exasperatedly said on the other side. “F*ck! F*ck! F*k!” he could hear and feel Damien’s frustration.
Max scowled, “Hey! Chill! Tell me what happened?!” he asked as he sat on the bench, wiping his sweats.
