Chapter 9- Get along

    Charlene was chewing the apple that one of the interns gave her when she heard her receiver ring. Picking it, “Ms. Lee,” Charlene listened to Chloe on the other side of the phone.

    “Yes, Ms. Chloe,”

    “Mr. Ricaforte is on his way upstairs,” Chloe advised.

    “Copy, girl, Thank you!” Charlene said before clicking the button.

    Dialing Damien’s office phone, “Boss,” she called.

    “Yes,”

    “Mr. Ricaforte is here,”

    “Great! Let him come in,” Damien replied.

    Before she could answer, she heard Damien excitedly welcome his god-dad in his office from the phone. She placed back the receiver and stood up to get the two lovely men some coffee. She had known Daniel Ricaforte as Damien’s mentor and godfather.
