Ellen stood there with an eltter in her hand; her breathing was ragged because she could not control it. She was trying to steady her emotions so she did not do something she did not want to do. She was hoping so desperately that there was some kind of mistake here. They could not ask her to drop off the team just because of something like this. This was not even her fault, and Tom had complimented her the day before yesterday.
"You are very industrious," she said, feeling her world stop and start again after she received the compliment. After all, it was the world's fashion Tom who said that to her, so it meant a big deal even though it did not seem that way at all.
"I'll just call him," she said to herself, picking up her phone and dialling his number. She felt good that he had ……
