"Have you seen the kids?" Grace asked her son as he sat to have dinner with her, she had insisted that he came back from work early to have dinner with her. Varian agreed because it had been a while since he did so with her, she had been eating all alone the majority of the time since she lost her husband.
He had been so busy running the company and trying to keep the greedy board of directors and subsidiary CEOs from stealing that he had barely had any time to sit and have dinner with her. It all began to improve now that he intentionally began to clear up his schedule and all of this only happened because Ellen suddenly appeared.
"The kids? What kids?" he asked sorting out the cutlery on the table.
"Your kids" she said and then it dawned on her that she had implicated herself……
