Varian had barely slept well that night. He kept tossing and turning and checking the clock at every interval. He was like a child waiting for Christmas morning so they could unwrap the gifts they had gotten. By the time he stood up to go for a run, Mr. Miller had sent a message for him to come over to the office. Varian sent an acknowledgement message back; he knew he was going to know who it was that was trying to blackmail him soon.
