"You had this much pain and yet you wanted to cry alone?" Ellen asked as she handed the tub of ice cream to Elise. Elise took it and gave her a sad smile through the smile.
"I would have gotten over it eventually" Elise said her voice cracking and her tone hoarse as if she had a frog for a voice box.
"And I would have been the bad sister"
"The bad sister? how?"
"You would have been hurting and I would have been dumping my entire pain on you expecting you to come up with workable solutions, my life would have been healing while you would keep having open scars and maybe later in the future you might grow to resent me," Ellen said and then took a deep breath.
"I would never resent you, the glamorous life I live that made Ethan approach me is because I have you as my sister"……
