Valen.

The anger that I felt in me can't be described. It was beyond what I had even expected it to be. Lucien just had to be a monster and destroy Diana’s life.

If he didn't want her that much then why wouldn't he have let her go. “f*****g bastard.” I cursed under my breath.

“Alpha valen.” Beta Sam called out as he came close to me. “I see that you are here.”

I ignored him, the anger that I had in me should be directed at someone else or Lucien himself. “Is there any update?” I asked him.

“The doctor was right. An illegal surgery was carried on Miss Diana and in that process, her womb was tied.” He affirmed.

It took a single sentence from him to break me off. I couldn't hold it back anymore as i threw away the cup in my hand. “Fuck.”

I couldn't stop cursing, because I felt like I was also to blame. If I had stopped being a coward and had claimed her in the first place, then we wouldn't have been in this place. “I want you to send a message to Alpha Lucien.” I started.

It would be just a warning, to let him know that I had my eyes on his every move and when I do strike, it would be when he had least expected it. “Yes, Alpha.”

After laying out everything that I wanted to be passed to Alpha Lucien, I dismissed him. “I should see Diana.” I thought.

I just felt the urge to see her, comfort her and let her know that no matter what, she always has me. If I had wanted, I could also use this as the chance to let her know that i am that boy from ages ago that she can't wait to see again.

As I walked to the room, I slowly practiced all that I had to say to her. I would try my best to be simple and polite to her.

I was rude to her earlier because it was the only way to get her to let me go to the hospital with her without putting up a fight. “Diana.” I called out softly after knocking on the door and there was no answer from her.

I knocked more, then went ahead to call her name and yet, there was nothing. I hissed before pushing the door opened. Thank goodness, she didn't lock it with the key.

My eyes raked through the entire room and she wasn't there. Then the sound from the bathroom caught my attention and I ran there. In the tube, Diana laid lifeless with water flowing all over her. “Diana.” I called out with my voice high pitched

Without wasting any time, I brought her out of the water and ran back to the bedroom. I dropped her on the bed, before getting rid of the wet clothes on her. “Did you have to act immatured?” I questioned irritated even though she couldn't hear me or even respond.

After I was done getting rid of her wet clothes and getting her warm, I left to get the doctor so that she can be checked on.

Thankfully, I had checked on her early so the water hasn't done much harm to her. She was safe and just sleeping now. “She should take this when she wakes up.” Doctor Wilbur informed as he prepared to leave.

“I should see you off.” I offered standing up. Doctor Wilbur nodded his head then gave Diana a last look before he walked out.

He took in a deep breath and honestly, I was prepared to hear the worst that he had to say. “It happens this way always. She wouldn't be ready to accept the truth so she wants to take it out on herself.” He explained.

“She just need someone to keep on reminding her that she isn't alone and she is loved around, that way she wouldn't think of doing it the second time.” He ended.

I shook my head okay. I would do whatever it is to see that she doesn't have any thought like that ever again. I don't know how I will act of something happens to her again and I lose her entirely. I might do more harm to myself.

“Miss Barbara.” I called out as I went to the kitchen.

Almost all the maids and the guards around rushed out, standing all in a straight line. “I am sure that you have heard what happened to Miss Diana.” I started.

“So I need everyone to be on their toes and have their eyes on her. She needs all the love and care that she can get from us.” I explained to her.

I can't be around here all the time, so I am sure that they can be around her and help her through. “It doesn't have to be stressful for her or you that are looking out for her.”

“I am sorry that jt had to happen to her. Onbehalf of the maids, we are sorry and we would make sure that she gets the best as you had requested.” Miss Barbara said.

I ordered for some soup to be delivered to Diana because she clearly something that would make her stronger until she was back on her foot.

The maids and guards went back to their business, while Beta Sam walked to me. “actually, Alpha Lucien sent you a message before it could get delivered to him.” he informed, referring to the message that I had asked him to send to Alpha Lucien.

“So what does it say?” I raised a brow in irritation.

He closely opened the letter and a what seem like finger fell off. “Really?” I thought.

It is just so funny about the way he always thinks so childish. Him and saying rubbish shouldn't be let to lead an entire pack.”I will still come for her because she was mine in the first place so just wait for me.”

“Oh, so it was a threat.” I chuckled before giving it back to Beta Sam. I would love to see him do all he has threatened to do. To prove the bastard that he is.
