Jason was finally getting better, and I couldn't be more relieved. It had been a long night, spending every spare moment at the hospital, watching him suffer through his pain. I couldn't even sleep. I do not know why I was so concerned with the man I hate so much. Maybe it was because I was a doctor. My profession can't ignore my worst enemy. That's the big disadvantage of being a doctor.

I know everyone at the hospital was curious about why I was so invested in his well-being, but little did they know the history we shared. The lie that the director had even told must have made them more curious.

Jason was not married, which was known by everyone and again I am a pediatrician, why would I be concerned with his wellbeing as if I was his wife?
